The Great Gonzo was on hand at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA, on Sunday to give the command for drivers to start their engines.
Gonzo reminded drivers that the speed limit in California was 70 mph.
Considering the pole speed of Matt Kenseth was 187.315 mph it is safe to assume most in the field will ignore that warning.
This is the fifth race of the season for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
