The No. 44 Chevrolet SS of XXXtreme Motorsport will be making its season debut this weekend at the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Veteran NASCAR driver JJ Yeley will get behind the wheel of the car which will have sponsorship from Phoenix Warehouse, a logistics warehouse and distribution company. They will appear on Yeley’s car multiple times this season.
Last year XXXtreme Motorsport ran a limited schedule with Scott Riggs competing in six events. The car failed to make it to the halfway point in any of those races.
Yeley ran 35 races for Tommy Baldwin Racing last season. His best finish came in the July race at Daytona when he placed 13th.
