Denny Hamlin won the second Budweiser Duel held Thursday night at Daytona International Speedway. He crossed the start finishing line of the 60 lap (150 mile) race first ahead of Jeff Gordon.
The race began with Martin Truex Jr. on the pole by virtue of his speed on Sunday. Truex Jr. would have started the Daytona 5oo from the front row but was involved in a last lap crash. He will now have to go to a backup car.
