Daniel Suarez won the pole for Tuesday night’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race at Daytona. The UNOH Battle At The Beach was a 60 mile race that consisted of 150 laps around a 0.4 mile track constructed on the backstretch of Daytona International Speedway.
Ben Rhodes began the race on the pole. A total of 33 drivers took the green flag and Chris Gaulding wasted no time going to the top spot. It was not long before he gave way to Suarez.
Suarez led for much of the race as he was looking for his second win to start the K&N Pro Series East season. He did just that finishing ahead of Austin Hill and Brandon McReynolds.
