Matt Kenseth won the pole for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series finale. The driver of the No.20 will lead a field of 43 to the green flag on Sunday for the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Joining Kenseth on the front row will be Kurt Busch.
Jimmie Johnson will begin the race in the seventh position and simply needs to finish 23rd or better to win his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title.
The Ford EcoBooost 400 will be run on Sunday at the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami Speedway. The race will consists of 267 laps making up 400.5 miles.
Coverage of the race will air on ESPN beginning at 3:00 pm ET with the green flag set to wave at 3:15 pm ET.
