Greg Zipadelli will be acting crew chief for the No. 14 Chevrolet driven by Austin Dillon at Talladega Superspeedway for Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

Steve Addington is headed back to North Carolina for the birth of his child.

Mark Martin has been filling in for the injured Tony Stewart, but Dillon will be in the car at Talladega.

Zipadelli joined Joe Gibbs Racing in 1999 partnering with rookie Tony Stewart. Their accomplishments include the 1999 Rookie of the Year title, winning a stunning three races, three Chase for the NEXTEL Cup appearances, and two championships in 2002 and 2005.

Beginning in 2009, Stewart moved over to Stewart-Haas Racing to drive the No. 14 Chevrolet. JGR Nationwide driver Joey Logano took over the driving of the No.20 Toyota, with Zipadelli continuing as crew chief.

Zipadelli moved to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2011 to reunite with Stewart as the teams competition director. He acted as part-time crew chief for Danica Patrick in 2012.
