AJ Allmendinger can drive the No. 47 of JTG full-time for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season if he chooses.
Team owner Tad Geschickter confirmed to FOXSports.com a full-time deal had been offered to Allmendinger.
Allmendinger has completed in NASCAR, IndyCar and GrandAm this season. He has found victory lane twice in the NASCAR Nationwide Series while driving for Penske Racing.
A press conference involving JTG is scheduled for Saturday.
Geschickter has said that a position had been offered to Bobby Labonte for the 2014 season but the 49-year-old driver is still mulling his options at this time.
Labonte was scheduled to drive the No. 51 for Phoenix Racing this weekend at Atlanta but will miss the race after suffering three broken ribs in a bicycle accident on Wednesday morning.
