AJ Allmendinger has reached an agreement with JTG Daugherty Racing which will have him drive the No. 47 car for the 2014 season.
JTG’ Daugherty’s contract with Allmendinger is reportedly for three years with a formal announcement expected on Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Allmendinger was first hired to drive the No. 47 car at Kentucky Speedway. He recently earned the teams first top ten finish of the season at Watkins Glen.
Bobby Labonte, who has driven for JTG since 2011, is said to be considering his options for next season.
