AJ Allmendinger won the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Mid-Ohio. He finished ahead of pole sitter Michael McDowell in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200.
The first NASAR race at the 2.4 mile track featured all the off track action that fans have grown to be accustomed to at road courses.
Sam Hornish now holds a 13 point lead in the Nationwide point standings over Elliott Sadler.
