LOUDON,N.H — Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Kyle Busch had a few choice words for Ryan Newman on Sunday at the running of the Camping World RV Sales 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Busch was upset after Newman was involved in a wreck with his older brother, Kurt Busch.

Newman is in the last year of his contract with Stewart Haas Racing, as Kevin Harvick moves in next season to drive the No. 4. SHR announced on Friday that they would not be expanding to four teams and Newman will be looking for a ride.

“I really hated that Kurt got tore up,” Kyle Busch told reporters after finishing second. “I felt like he had the best car. And was proud of them guys but, man, just stupidity.

I mean Ryan Newman’s the biggest stupid idiot out here, and he’s a big ogre and can do whatever he wants because he can probably kick anybody’s butt. So no sense in getting in a fight with him, but glad he’s out of a job.”

The incident occurred on lap 226 of 302. Kurt Busch drove beneath Newman in Turn 2 and then said he was bumped from behind by Matt Kenseth.

Kenseth put the blame on Kurt for the accident, saying he had to “stop to miss the wreck.”

NEWMAN RESPONDS: “If I rearrange his face, I might fix it”

Newman said Kurt took himself out. “Kurt went underneath three-wide and bypassed [Kenseth] and clipped us and knocked us into the fence and took himself out.”

“I guess [Kenseth] had a little influence on it. We kind of were in a bad spot having a little bit older tires. Just a lot of disrespect from a bunch of guys on restarts. What comes around goes around.” Newman said.

Newman finished the race in 31st position.

Kurt Busch led 103 laps. The wreck turned a potential win into a 31st-place finish that dropped Kurt from ninth to 14th in the standings.
