Ryan Newman has 18 races left at Stewart Hass Racing. At the end of the 2013 season the 36-year-old driver will no longer drive for friend and teammate Tony Stewart.

The news came as Stewart spoke at New Hampshire Motor Speedway about the addition of Kevin Harvick to the team in the No. 4 Chevrolet. Harvick will bring sponsorship from Budweiser along with him as he leaves Richard Childress Racing.

“We’re not ready to expand to a fourth team. Unfortunately, this will be the last year we have Ryan,” Stewart said.

“I believe in him 100 percent. I truly wish we were able to facilitate four teams.”

Newman began racing at SHR in 2009 after previously driving for Penske Racing. Newman has won a race in each of the last four NASCAR Sprint Cup seasons.

Currently Newman ranks 16th in the Cup Standings with 8 finishes inside the top-ten.
