The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is in Iowa this weekend and the field will feature Frank Kimmel. Kimmel last competed in a truck race in 2004 and has scored two top-ten finishes in 12 career starts in the series.
On Saturday night he will climb behind the wheel of ThorSport’s No. 13 truck.
“It’s really exciting – of course to get back in a truck – but all my guys that work on the ARCA cars will be crewing the truck at Iowa,” Kimmel said.
Kimmel will drive a Toyota Tundra with a primer-gray paint scheme which has typically been run on the No. 13 truck this season. Sponsorship will be provided Menards and Ansell.’
ThorSport’s No. 13 truck was driven in the series’ first seven races by Todd Bodine and recently Brett Moffitt.
