Brad Keselowski was given permission to drive the “Blue Deuce” across the Mackinac Bridge on May 29. Keselowski drove his No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion across the bridge to promote the Michigan International Speedway.

The Mackinac Bridge connects the Upper and Lower peninsulas of Michigan together. It is the third longest suspension bridge in the world and carries a toll of $4 for a typical car.

The Mackinac Bridge Authority will also light the bridge blue tonight and the lights will remain blue leading into the Quicken Loans 400 on June 16.

Keselowski described driving his car across the bridge as “amazing.”

Last year Keselowski became the first Michigan born driver to win the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title.
