The No. 52 Chevrolet of Jimmy Means Racing will be driven by Joey Gase for the entire NASCAR Nationwide season. Gase ran 18 events last season, including 12 for JMR.
“We had to race our way into last year. I like Jimmy a lot and he likes me. The whole team works well together. We’re going to try it out again this year and hopefully it will be even better.” Gase said.
Gase, 19, also drove the No. 39 car of Go Green Racing for part of last season. His best finish was a 19th place run at Kansas.
“Joey really stepped up for us at the end of the year. We made some races that were very competitive and hard to make. We ran some really good cars. I think he impressed a lot of people,” team owner Jimmy Means said in a statement.
