Joey Logano gets pole at Homestead, full starting lineup for Ford EcoBoost 400

Joey Logano, driver of the No. 20 Home Depot Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing will be starting on the pole for Sunday’s season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the running of the Ford EcoBoost 400.

It will be Logano’s last race with JGR, as next season he will be driving the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford at Penske Racing.

It is Logano’s second pole of the season.

Brad Keselowski, current points leader qualified in 3rd position, seven spots up on Jimmie Johnson who is chasing him for the championship. Johnson qualified in the 10th position.

Logano beat out Marcos Ambrose with a speed of 176.056.

With only 43 starting spots available and 47 drivers on the entry list – four drivers failed to qualify. They were Reed Sorenson, Stephen Leicht, Jason Leffler and Joe Nemechek.

Carl Edwards will be starting the race from the fourth position.
