Joe Nemechek gets sponsorship for Phoenix Nationwide Series race

Joe Nemechek enters Phoenix International Raceway in eleventh place in the NASCAR Nationwide Series points. The veteran driver is just ten points behind tenth place Danica Patrick. Nemechek will welcome AC General and Sasquatch Alaska Adventure Company as sponsors of his No. 87 Toyota Camry for the Great Clips 200.

This is not the first time AC General has sponsored Nemechek. The Alaskan-based company specializes in the construction of ring wall foundation systems for above-ground fuel storage tanks.

Sasquatch Alaska Adventure Company, an Alaska tour and wildlife encounter group, is utilizing NASCAR as a partner for the first-time, coming aboard for the NEMCO #87 to tap into a new market, the “snowbirds” gone south.

“We love coming to Phoenix and we are hoping for a great run, especially with the support of having Sasquatch Alaska Adventure Company and AC General running with us on our #87 Toyota,” said Joe Nemechek. “Our team is excited to have this themed car this week and we have been working to rally up our resources to deliver a solid performance, while helping these companies spread the word about their unique tank construction services and amazing Alaska tour experiences.”

This season Nemechek has one top ten finish in 30 starts in the Nationwide Series. Earlier this season Nemechek finished 24th at Phoenix.
