David Reutimann will race at Phoenix International Raceway this coming Sunday. Reutimann who has bounced around between multiple teams this season will drive the No. 44 car for Xxxtreme Motorsport.
Frankie Kerry, formerly of JTG Daughtery Racing, is expected to act in the role of crew chief. The team is operating out of TRG Motorsports location in Mooresville, NC according to Jayski.
While no official announcement has been made the team did tweet the following suggesting that they will have some sort of backing from No Label Watches. “@NASCARonSPEED @NASCAR Xxxtreme Motorsport going to Phoenix with David Ruetimann #Nolabelwatches. ”
The team is owned by John Cohen who ran a family trucking business before starting First Homeland Mortgage Group.
Retuimann has run 23 races this season for BK Racing and Tommy Baldwin Racing. His best finish was 11th at Daytona in July driving the No. 10 for TDB.
Team owner John Cohen said the No. 44 Ford will be finishing out the year at Homestead-Miami Speedway and running a full season next year. “I’m looking forward to the 2013 season and building a solid program.”
