Stanton Barrett returns to Nationwide Series at Charlotte

Professional stunt man and NASCAR driver Stanton Barrett will return to the NASCAR Nationwide Series this weekend at Charlotte. The No. 15 of Rich Ware Racing will be driven by Barrett as he makes his first start of the season.

Barrett’s last start in the Nationwide Series occurred at Homestead last season when he drove the No. 41 car fo Ware.

On the car will be FairGirls.org and Barrett’s own 4caring.org. Fair Girls is dedicated to helping in the recovery of girl survivors of sex trafficing and exploitation. Barrett is a member of the advisory board. Barrett has used his charity to aid Fair Girls.

“Human trafficking is one of the most important human rights issues. On September , President Obama made a clear statement that the United States will aggressively seek to serve victims and prosecute their traffickers. I want to see more done, and I am putting my personal and professional weight behind FAIR Girls because I know their programs truly help some of our nation’s youngest victims,” says Stanton.

It will be the 186th career start in the series for Barrett. He has a top five and seven finishes inside the top-ten.
