Ryan Blaney Wins First Career Truck Race at Iowa

Ryan Blaney has done something that no other driver for Brad Keselwoski Racing has done. By winning Saturday nights Camping World Truck Series race from Iowa Speedway Blaney became the first BKR driver to win a race. It also marked the first career win for the 18 year old who is the son of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Dave Blaney. At 18 years age, Ryan Blaney becomes the youngest winner ever in the truck series.

At the conclusion of the American Ethanol 200 from Iowa, Blaney held off Ty Dillon after a late restart on the 0.875-mile track. Todd Bodine was third in the 200-lap race slowed by nine caution periods that took up 54 laps.

The 20-year-old Dillon took over the season points lead.

Blaney recently signed a developmental contract with Penske Racing and began driving for the No. 29 truck following the dismissal of Parker Kligerman.

In addition to running the No. 29 truck he will also drive the No. 22 car in a few more races before the end of the season.
