Michael McDowell will be back behind the wheel of the No. 18 Pizza Ranch Toyota at Iowa Speedway for his fourth of five races with Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) in 2012. With the Sprint Cup Series running at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania, McDowell will look to find his way to victory lane for JGR.
McDowell, 27, finished third in the first Nationwide event of the year at Iowa. That race was dominated by Ricky Stenhouse Jr who led 209 of the 250 laps. McDowell also drove the No. 18 Camry to a seventh place finish at Michigan and later a second place run at Road America in Elkhart Lake.
The fifth event for McDowell in the 18 car will be at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal on August 18.
