The banged up Ravens will start Ryan Mallett today at quarterback against the Steelers.
With almost no offensive weapons left, Mallett figures to have a hard day even against a questionable Steelers secondary.
The 27-year-old Mallett played six games for the Texans earlier his year before attitude led to his release. He completed just 53.1 percent of his passes for 770 yards while compiling a 3:4 touchdown to interception ratio.
Mallett could earn up to $2.6 million in 2016 with the Ravens so the team wants to see what he can do. The decision to start Mallett is not a surprise after the team team comments over the last few days had began to indicate he would start.
