Entering Talladega the Sprint Cup Series point standings remain close with Matt Kenseth just four points ahead of Jimmie Johnson.
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will run 188 laps around the 2.66 mile track located in Talladega, AL.
In a surprise to everyone, David Ragan found victory lane at Talladega earlier this year. Last year it was Kenseth who found victory lane in this race.
