Alexander Rossi turned the fastest lap in practice No. 2 for the Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America backing up his performance where he was the fastest on Friday on the freshly paved surface.
Colton Herta would have trouble early in the session going off the track and running though a sign. Moments alter points leader Alex Palou would go off the track and crash into a tire barrier. Palou’s incident would lead to a red flag.

Scott Dixon would get into Will Power on the exit of Canada corner once practice resumed wrecking both cars. Power visibly upset would give Dixon a shove after getting out of his wrecked car.
Further red flags would come out for sperate spins by Santino Ferrucci and a second by Herta. With three minutes to go cars returned to the track but this time it would be Simon Pagenaud who would go off track and get stuck in a gravel trap for the fifth red flag of the day.
Qualifying will take place later today at 1:55 pm ET with the race taking place on Sunday, June 18. Fans hoping to watch the Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America can do so on USA and Peacock. Radio coverage of the race will air on IndyCar Radio and SiriusXM.
