Julia Lipnitskaia is the latest figure skating prodigy from Russia. With the 2014 Winter Olympics being in her home country it’s no surprise that the 15-year-old from Yekaterinburg has been one of televisions favorites.
Already Lipnitskaia has won a team gold medla but the 2014 European singles champion does not plan to stop there. She is six days younger than American Tara Lipinski who stunned the world with a gold medal in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.

Of course if Lipnitskaia is to win the gold she will have to get past a few women representing the United States to include Gracie Gold, Polina Edmunds and Ashley Wagner.
