T.J. Oshie launched himself in Olympic legend status in Saturday’s shootout win over Russia. That’s great for Oshie and probably not the worst thing for his girlfriend Lauren Cosgrove.
Cosgrove recently got engaged to Oshie and soon will deliver the couples first baby in April. She’s not in Sochi but that has not stopped the internet from finding her.
She recently spoke about Oshie to KSDK St. Louis.
“He really is the most genuine, caring guy that I’ve ever met,” Lauren said.

“He was like, ‘Oh I hope this all blows over pretty quick. It’s exciting for him but this isn’t really him, he’s so low key,” Lauren said.
And of course Lauren is hoping that T.J. enjoys his big moment.
“He’s been a heartthrob for a while here in St. Louis at least, but yeah I’m sure he’s enjoying every minute of it,” said Lauren.
