Sarah Hendrickson, 19, is hoping to win a gold medal in the Women’s Ski Jump despite tearing her ACL and MCL in a crash late last year.
The Salt Lake City, Utah born Hendrickson got the honors of being the first female to Ski jump in the Olympics after she drew bib No. 1. To minimize stress on her knee, Hendrickson skipped practice runs in Sochi.
