Longtime time host Bob Costas is dealing with a case of pink eye as the 2014 Winter Olympics begin from Sochi. While Costas is hoping to get over the condition by this weekend there has been no shortage of jokes about the water in Sochi getting the better of him.
“According to NBC doctors here, it’s some kind of minor infection which should resolve itself by the weekend,” Costas said, while explaining that he’ll be wearing glasses for the time being.
And if that was not enough…. he also dropped the line “Pussy Riot.”
It has since been dubbed into a long running loop.
Just add it to the long list of complaints about Sochi and the Winter Olympics.
