Lindsey Vonn is not competing at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and the 29-year-old is in beginning to accept it.
Vonn will be serving as an Olympic correspondent for NBC’s “Today.”
She is unsure if she will watch the events she would have competed in. Vonn pulled out of the Olympics after re-injuring her right knee.

“I’m kind of in the process of accepting the fact that I’m not there,” Vonn told USA Today. “I think it will still be difficult to watch the events I would be a contender in.”
So what is Vonn going to watch you ask?
“I really like figure skating. Gracie Gold is supposed to be really good. I’ve never seen her compete so I’m looking forward to that. Then there’s sports like hockey, that I follow normally, that will be good to see.”
