Ralph Lauren unveiled the uniforms that U.S. athletes will wear during the opening ceremony of the 2014 Sochi Olympics on Thursday.
“It is a privilege to be part of dressing Team USA during the Sochi Games,” said David Lauren, the executive vice president of advertising, marketing and corporate communications. “It’s a proud moment to watch these premier athletes as they walk out representing our nation on a global stage in front of billions of people worldwide.”
The outfits, comprised of a patchwork cardigan featuring stars and patriotic graphics, a cream-colored turtleneck, white fleece pants and red-laced leather boots will be sold online and at selected department stores. The entire purchase price of the $595 cardigan will be donated to the U.S. Olympic Committee.
