One athlete that will not be at the X Games in Apsen, CO this week is Shaun White.
White will skip the X Games so that he can focus on the upcoming Olympics.

An eight-time superpipe and five-time slopestyle gold medalist, White was scheduled to compete in both events. He had never missed an X Games Aspen event.
White qualified for Sochi in the debuting slopestyle and halfpipe. White is a two-time gold medalist in halfpipe.
