The Boston Bruins lost the opening game of their best of seven series against the Montreal Canadiens thanks largely to P.K. Subban.
One of the NHL’s few lack players, Subban struck twice in Thursday’s contest including the scoring of an overtime goal giving the Canadiens a 4-3 win.
While those in Montreal may have celebrated, the reception of the Boston faithful on social media sites such as Twitter has not been as receptive. Point in case? #N***** immediately began to trend in Boston following Subban’s goal thanks to tweets like the ones posted below.
