Johnny Manziel questionable for Browns finale

After a strong start the Browns season has been derailed. On Sunday they not only loss to the Panthers, they also lost rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel to a hamstring injury.

Former starter Brian Hoyer took over for Manziel going 7 of 13 with a touchdown and an interception in place of Manziel.

Panthers safety Colin Jones hit Manziel on a designed quarterback run. Manziel was able to get up but quickly went back down. After trainers looked at his hamstring he went to the sidelines and later the locker room.

“As I kept walking more and more, it just felt like something I hadn’t experienced before,” said Manziel after the game. “I figured I needed to get checked out. Pretty frustrating.”

More frustrating for the Browns is that a once promising season has went to waste and they still are unsure of what they have in the former Heisman winning quarterback.

The Browns final game of the season is a road game against the Ravens.
