There is a first time for everything. On Sunday the Detroit Lions defeated the Washington Redskins. The win marked the first win for the Lions on the road against the Redskins as they had previously been 0-21. Even if the Redskins do not really play in Washington… before someone makes a comment. Detroit’s win was in large part earned though the air. Matt Stafford picked up nearly 400 yards while Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson both topped 100 yards receiving.
Then there was the dancing and trucking.
Detroit is now 2-1 on the season while Washington is an unenviable 0-3.
