Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson spoke on SIRIUS NFL Radio and naturall, because he is a football star, the topic of gay marriage came up.

“To each his own, [but] I’m not with it,” Peterson said. “I have relatives who are gay. I’m not biased towards them. I still treat them the same. I love ’em. But again, I’m not with that. That’s not something I believe in. But to each his own.”

Peterson was also asked about the release of punter Chris Kluwe. Kluwe seemed to believe it was his outspokenness for gay rights and not his mediocre numbers and rising salary that were to blame for his release.

“I’m sure the Vikings organization didn’t release him based on that,” Peterson said. “They know Kluwe. They’ve been knowing him for a long time. They know he’s outspoken.”

It is hard to believe but at one point in time we talked to NFL players about football.
