Cardinals to start Ryan Lindley against Lions

The Arizona Cardinals placed Kevin Kolb on injured reserve. Kolb has missed much of the season leaving the Cardinals struggling to find any signs of a passing game with John Skelton and Ryan Lindley.

Two weeks ago the Cardinals struggled with Lindley at quarterback against the Jets. Last week it was Skelton who struggled throwing 4 interceptions in a 58-0 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

When the Cardinals play on Sunday it will be with Lindley under center.

Arizona is 28th in the NFL in passing yardage, a statistic which is almost hard to believe considering they have been trailing in much of their games forcing them to pass. Star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald appears on his way to finishing the season with less then 1,000 yards for the first time since 2006, a year in which he played only 13 games.

Vince Young offered his services to the team via twitter and Brian Hoyer was signed earlier this week.

For the season Lindley is 58-of-120 for 507 yards while throwing five interceptions. He has also committed two fumbles.
