Restaurant owner buys remaining Rams at Bills tickets to prevent blackout

The Buffalo Bills home game against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday has sold out after a local restaurateur committed to purchasing the remaining tickets.

Russell Salvatore, of Russell’s Steaks, Chops and More bought out the remaining tickets to prevent the game from being blacked out on local television.

The Bills had said last week that there were more than 10,000 tickets unsold.

The Bills made the following statement:

“The Buffalo Bills are very appreciative of the loyalty and support from Bills fans this season, and we especially thank Russell J. Salvatore of Russell’s Steaks, Chops and More for his generosity by purchasing the remaining tickets to our game against the Rams.”

Salvatore called this his holiday gift to Bills fans. The game will air on FOX locally.
