Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will miss Sundays game against the Baltimore Ravens. Exactly how many games the play caller will miss is unknown.
The problem is that Roethlisberger’s rib is partially dislocated and with the location of it there is some concern that it could press against his aorta.
According to Doug Bouchette Roethlisberger says the last time an injury like this was noticed in an athlete was 1998.
The best case scenario for a return seems to a return in Week 13 against Baltimore but that is hardly a guarantee.
Byron Leftwich who filled in on Monday night has already been announced as the Steelers quarterback for Sundays game.
