NASCAR is not allowing Camping World Truck Series driver Jake Crum to compete on any track larger than 1.25 miles after he appeared to intentionally wreck Ryan Ellis in last Friday’s race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Crum will be able to race at tracks less than 1.25 miles.
The 22-year-old, is a part-time racer in the truck series for Empire Racing and accepted NASCAR’s penalties.
Thank you to the fans, drivers & teams who have reached out to me with encouragement. I respect NASCAR’s decision & I’ll do as they’ve asked

Crum and Ellis had tangled earlier in the race. Once they began racing side by side again Crum dumped Ellis.
