Our Motorsports welcomes back driver Brett Moffitt and sponsor Fr8 Auctions as the NASCAR Xfinity Series restarts the 2020 season at historic Darlington Raceway. It will be the first race in the series since the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily suspended the season in early March.
The two months of interruption, however, were not without activity. Team owner Chris Our and general manager Andy Seuss made safety their priority and immediately locked down the North Carolina based shop as the season was halted. Upon return, the young team began preparing cars for later in the season to build on their 18th place standings in the series owner’s points.
Moffitt also made headlines as he was involved in an off-road motorcycle accident that resulted in two broken legs. Following surgery and a rigorous physical therapy routine, he’s eager to return to the track. This will be Moffitt’s second start at the track “Too Tough to Tame” with his only other start coming in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2015.
The Darlington 200 at Darlington Raceway is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00pm ET. The event will be televised live on Fox Sports 1.
