Denny Hamlin wins Stage 2 at Kansas

After Joey Logano won stage 1 at Kansas staying out on old tires, the entire field came to pit road to start the second stage.

Martin Truex Jr. wasted little time establishing himself in stage 2 followed by Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin.

A caution came out when Joey Gase spun near the halfway point of the stage. Kyle Busch would experience throttle issues in the stage which suddenly put his playoff advancement in question.

Kevin Harvick who started last moved up to third by lap 124 when Denny Hamlin made a move on Truex for the lead. Hamlin would complete the pass on lap 126.
