Hailie Deegan starting fourth in ARCA race at Pocono

Driving the No. 55 Venturini Motorsports Toyota, Hailie Deegan will start fourth in Friday’s running of the #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono Raceway.

Damp conditions forced the ARCA Menards Racing Series to scrap plans for early morning practice and qualifying turning the final session of practice into qualifying for the race.

Deegan’s time of 53.435 was good enough for a speed of 168.429 which ranked her third among Venturini Morotports drivers behind polesitter Harrison Burton and points leader Michael Self who will start third. Riley Herbst will start the race second.

Pocono is the second start for Deegan in the ARCA Menards Racing Series. She previously ran at Toledo but manged just 29 laps while being collected in a crash and being related to a 18th place finish.
