The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the Xfinity Series will both be in action this weekend at Richmond Raceway.
Known as “America’s Premier Short Track” the 0.75 mile short track opened in 1946 and has been a fixture on the NASCAR schedule. Stands seat 51,000 and this weekend fans will be able to see the Xfinity Series ToyotaCare 250 and the MENCS Toyota Owners 400.
Fans and NASCAR teams alike will appreciate the compressed schedule as Friday is packed with on-track activity highlighted by MENCS qualifying and the Xfinity race. On Saturday the MENCS runs under the lights.

Temps will be in the upper 70’s for Friday and Saturday but teams will be aided by the clouds. The chance of rain is highest on Saturday but currently is only at 20% while it is 50% on Sunday which is not a race day.
