NASCAR is back at the short track of Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend.
The 162,000 seat track saw it’s first NASCAR race in July of 1961. Since then it has become a track that fans love due to its close racing, quick speeds and heated rivalries. At one point the list to get Bristol tickets was years long. That is gone with NASCAR’s attendance decline but the racing at Bristol lives on again this weekend with but the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the Xfinity Series in weekend action.

Temps are expected to be in the mid to upper 70’s on both Saturday and Sunday with cloud cover. The issue for NASCAR could be Friday where there is an 80% chance of rain.
