Jimmie Johnson wins Texas pole, O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 qualifying results

Jimmie Johnson claimed the pole for Sunday’s running of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

The front row will see Johnson joined by William Byron for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500. Last year’s winner Kyle Busch starts 16th while fall winner Kevin Harvick will start 23rd.
