The third stop out west for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is Auto Club Speedway.
With a new aero package the upcoming Auto Club 400 is being touted as an event which could be wild thanks to the multiple groves which drivers can take around the 2-mile track.
One driver looking forward to Sunday’s race is Ty Dillon who is coming off a 15th place run at ISM Raceway.
“I think Fontana is going to be a fantastic race. None of us know what to expect. It has massive tire wear, but it is a big enough track to kind of keep the pack really tight. You could probably go seven-wide in the corners there if you wanted to. The racing groove is so wide. I know that our team is excited to get the GEICO Camaro ZL1 out there. This season is going to bring a lot of fun, exciting races that I think fans are really going to enjoy.”
