Supplied from Hendrick Motorsports, Pasut had been assigned to JTG Daugherty Racing this season. Hendrick Motorsports will now have to send a replacement later in the week to fuel Preece’s car.
Preece, a contender for Rookie of the Year, said he had looked down at his tacometer prior to hitting McLeod.
