When one thinks of Talladega they typically think of torn up race cars.
Bubba Wallace and Richard Petty Motorsports brought just one car to Talladega Super Speedway this weekend. It can only be assumed that the team is going with the idea that by bringing just one car, they can only destroy one car.
Even Wallace was surprised to hear the team would only bring one car when talking to the press earlier today.
“Yeah, out of all the speedway raceds we have had we have run okay, but then the cars are totaled at the end. That is part of it. So, year, we are just going to go out and do our own deal until the race starts. That was new news to me going into this weekend. I was like ‘oh alright’.”
