Much like his friend Bubba Wallace did a week ago, Ryan Blaney found the new Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval to be a little too much.
Blaney crashed his No. 12 Ford Fusion early in the practice session.
Blaney moved over to Penske Racing this season after driving the famed Wood Brothers No. 21 in 2017.
In 19 starts this year Blaney has scored four top-five finishes and nine runs into the top-ten to go along with two poles. He current sits 10th in the driving standings and should be safe for the upcoming playoffs.
