Martin Truex Jr. wins NASCAR pole at Auto Club, Fontana qualifying results

Martin Truex Jr. won the Busch pole award on Friday evening at Auto Club Speedway in Fotana.

With the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series visiting it’s title sponsor’s home track it was the driver of the No. 78 Toyota Camry who put himself at the front of the field. Joining Truex Jr. on the front row is Kyle Busch.

The 2017 winner at Auto Club Speedway, Kyle Larson, starts third. In total 37 cars will take the green flag during the Auto Club 400.

Sunday’s running of the Auto Club 400 airs on FOX beginning at 3:30 pm ET with the green flag to drop at approximately 3:46 pm ET.
