Rick Crawford, 59, was arrested on March 1 according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
According to KickinTheTires.net, Crawford is being held without bond on federal charges of “attempted enticement of a minor.”
Crawford allegedly responded to an internet posting for contact with a father and a 12-year-old minor daughter. His next court date is scheduled for Thursday.
A regular in the Camping World Truck Series, Crawford made 336 career starts in the series and won five races. His last win came back in 2006 at Indianapolis Raceway Park while his last start was during the 2012 season.
